Anyway, I made these bookends, completely oblivious to the outside world, and then showed them to my husband who said, “Oh, that’s cool! It’s good timing there’s that Superman vs. And we definitely don’t do superhero play on playdates anymore due to some “flying practice” incidents (not dangerous just too loud and crazy). Although I will say we had to “take a break” from superheroes for a little bit due to some, um, less than calm behavior. O hasn’t come home from school yet but he is going flip because he is a major superhero fanatic. And that turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I love these so much. I had originally planned to make them an entirely different way but I couldn’t find the supplies I needed without it being expensive. You guys! These superhero bookends turned out so cute! I had them in my mind for a looong time. Let these tough superhero bookends use their super strength to hold up your books!
